After my lecture I spent the day preparing for tomorrows discussion meeting. 

I was glad there was no deadline for my articles.

The group of volunteers for the discussion meeting was hanging out in the library. 

That is great. 

Some of them will be coming to next years seminar, so I hope they spread that positive atmosphere throughout my seminar.

I suggested that the second-year seminar hold a social gathering, but not enough people showed up, so it was cancelled. 

I am sad...
