I went to observe the hearing on the lawsuit regarding separate surnames for married couples.
I was surprised to find a student from my seminar there as well.
I was even more surprised when he raised their hand at the post-hearing briefing to share his thoughts.
It was a wonderful thing to see.
Back at the university, I tried to get some work done, but I could not concentrate and made little progress.
