Today I worked at my lab.

Having not been to the university for a week, I caught up on the work that had piled up during that time.

Afterward I turned my attention to my research and began drafting my articles.

While I come to the university and work almost every day, there are colleagues who do not show up at all. 

I think that while those research papers/articles and teaching achievements may be tolerated, individuals lacking such credentials have no business being university faculty members.
